In August 2013 i completed the imfaous Mongol Derby, the longest and toughest horse race in the world. To date there is nothing in my life i have been as proud of, as i have been of accomplishing this.
The Mongol Derby is 1000km race over the mongolian wilderness, with no guides, no support, no rest stops, no marked route. All with only 5kgs of gear and a series of 25 differant mongolian ponies to get you there.
It took me seven and a half days and along the way I got chased by wild dogs, sunburnt, windburnt, sick, rained on frozen and exhausted and never have I felt more alive.
I have written about my exerpiance in a range of publications including ;
